Classification of plant fiber pulp products in paper tray packaging
1. Ordinary pulp product paper tray packaging, as the name suggests, refers to molded products made of yellow pulp, newspaper pulp, A4 pulp, etc., with low hygienic requirements and low price.
2. Sugarcane pulp products refer to molded products that are made by using bio-pulping and then crushing the wet pulp or pulp plates into molded products again. Sugarcane fiber is a medium-long fiber with the advantages of moderate strength and moderate toughness. It is currently the most suitable raw material for molded products. Therefore, sugarcane pulp products have the widest range of applications.
3. Wheat straw pulp products are divided into mechanical fiber wheat straw pulp products, chemical wheat straw pulp products and chemical wheat straw pulp products. Wheat straw pulp has short fibers and good hardness. The product is crispy and has poor flexibility. Generally speaking, long fibers need to be neutralized during the production process to increase the toughness of their products.
4. Bamboo pulp products. Bamboo fiber is a medium-long fiber, and its performance is between coniferous wood and hardwood. Products produced from bamboo pulp have strong toughness and a smooth and delicate surface, but are prone to producing plush-like fluff fibers. Products with complex shapes, small slopes and R-angles can be added and used.
5. Wood pulp products are mainly divided into softwood pulp and hardwood pulp. Softwood pulp fibers are long and thin, and wood pulp is relatively pure with fewer impurities. Hardwood pulp has thick, short fibers and contains a lot of impurities. The finished product has relatively low strength, is loose, has strong absorbency and high opacity. Paper made from softwood pulp has good flexibility, high fold resistance and good tensile strength. Paper made from hardwood pulp has high bulk, high straightness and good packaging performance. Therefore, the thickness and density of products produced from different wood pulps will vary.
6. Reed pulp products are mainly used for papermaking. Molded products are mainly used for low-end products. Reed pulp is difficult to remove during the production process, has many impurities, and has low whiteness, but it is cheap and has good water filterability. Because the fiber is fluffy, the finished product is thicker and takes up more space.
7. Palm pulp products are made from fibers extracted from palm fruits and palm leaves. This slurry is rarely used. The main reason is that palm has a high oil content, which is not easy to remove, but is quite good.
8. Melon and vine pulp products. Melon and vine pulp generally refers to melon plants such as yellow vine and loofah vine, which can be used to produce molded products, but different types of fibers will also vary greatly. Most of these fibers are short fibers, which are quite poor and impurities are difficult to handle, so they are not widely used.
9. Only cotton swabs are used for cotton swab products. After removing the surface layer, the middle tissue of the cotton swab is used to produce the processed product. Cotton swab fiber molding products have fluffy fibers and poor stiffness, and are mostly used in low-end papermaking.
10. Machine-milled fiber products use grinding methods to disperse plant fiber raw materials into fibers under the action of mechanical force. The pulp produced by this method is called mechanical pulp. Mold fibers do not separate from lignin and cellulose, and the fiber binding force is poor. Requires the use of chemical mechanical pulp or chemical mechanical pulp. The amount of mold fiber added should not exceed 50%. More than 50% of products are more likely to shed chips.
11. Chemical mechanical pulp products. Chemical mechanical pulp refers to certain chemical treatment before grinding. The obtained slurry is called chemical mechanical pulp. Chemical mechanical pulp generally contains higher lignin and cellulose components, lower hemicellulose components, and a higher slurry yield. This kind of slurry is mainly used for mid-range molded products, and its cost is higher than mechanical slurry and lower than chemical slurry. Its bleaching, hydration and drainage properties are close to those of mechanical pulp.
12. Chemical pulp products. It is mainly a molded product processed after acid and alkali treatment. These products are fine and smooth, with the woody content of the raw material retained in the slurry.
